![]() ![]() The Platters notice Timmus hiding in the carvings in the church, and return late at night to catch him. This takes place at the church, and Miss Menzies - a friend of Lady Mullings - is present and becomes suspicious. The Platters have destroyed part of Little Fordham in their search, and decide to give one of Homily's old aprons to the local psychic "finder," Lady Mullings, to track down the borrowers. While borrowing, Arrietty finds out that Miss Menzies goes to the church to visit with friends and arrange the flowers, but is not allowed to speak to her. Arrietty meets a borrower named Peagreen Overmantel who helps them move into a home under a window seat. ![]() They move into the rectory Lupy, Hendreary and Timmus have already moved into the church next door. While travelling down the river in the night, they barely miss encountering the Platters, who are out searching for them and planning to break into the model village again. ![]() Platter in a balloon, the Clocks regroup in the Little Fordham model village and set out in Spiller's boat for the rectory of the local church. ![]()
